Aggravation Game
The name of this game comes from the action in the game of capturing an opponents horse (called 'Aggravating' it) by landing on it. While the original Aggravation game introduced in the 1960's could only be played by up to 4 players, this version has been updated to allow as many as 8 players. This version also comes with 3 sets of rules to play by, either with 1 or 2 dice, or with 2 decks of cards, all of which are included with the game.
The original was played with marbles, and when you accidentally dropped one on the floor, it usually rolled under a nearby piece of furniture, making it hard to retrieve. This modern version features Horses instead of Marbles, and as a result, they don't roll around when dropped... they are also easier to grip and hold onto than the marbles were.

Game Board Setup

The board is set up by attaching Player's boards (one for each person playing) to a central hub. This design allows for a game board that is 26 inches across, while storing compactly in a 12 inch wide cloth bag (Included with the Game Set).

- Each Player's Board is color coded to it's Horses, making it easy to recognize where each player's board is located on the game layout.

- The Player boards and Hub feature a beautiful inlaid white top with colored markings. The markings are not painted on, the markings and all colors are fully integrated into the plastic material these pieces are manufactured from. This means the markings and the colors will never rub off or wear away.

- Each Aggravation Game Set comes with 8 Player Boards, 1 Center Hub, 2 Dice, 2 Decks of Cards, 3 Cloth Bags, and 3 Versions of the Rules. It's everything you need to start having fun!

Here's How You Play...
The object of the game is for each player to move all four of their horses clockwise around the outside track of the game board, from the player's BASE AREA to their HOME AREA.

The first team or individual to have all their horses in their HOME AREA wins the game. Players take turns rolling dice or drawing cards from a draw pile to determine how many spaces they can move one or more of their Horses. Details are in the 3 sets of rules provided with the game. Some people will like the dice versions better, some will like the cards version better.

A shortcut in the form of an inner FAST TRACK (the Yellow Stars on the hub) allows a player to bypass the outer track and get their Horses home faster. Entrance to the FAST TRACK is based on finishing your turn by exact count on one of the Yellow Stars. On future turns that Horse then proceeds around the inner FAST TRACK instead of having to go all the way around the outside track.

It's a lot of fun, and everyone will enjoy this exciting update to the traditional Aggravation game!
